Now that we have sprung our clocks forward, there are other very important things that must be done.  Make sure to check all Smoke alarms, Carbon Monoxide detectors, and extinguishers located within your house.  Also take this time to do some spring cleaning, making sure to clean exhaust piping from the dryer, and dust that may be in the rear of stoves and  refrigerators and in baseboard heaters.  When starting any motorized gas/diesel fueled lawn/garden equipment make sure area is well ventilated such as opening garage doors.  Take this time also to teach your aging children what to do in case of a fire and also an escape plan for your house.  If you have any questions please contact us 718-843-1716.
