Sunday, May 30, 2010  At approximately 1638 hours, E946 was dispatched for Queens Box 8411 on the North Channel Bridge reported to be an overturned SUV with entrapment and fire in the vehicle.  Upon arrival, Engine 946 confirmed the overturn with fire in the vehicle, all occupants were able to exit the vehicle with minor injuries prior to the start of the fire.  Also due to the location, a water relay was engaged from E946 to supply FDNY E331.
